How
do I begin?
Regarding the subject
of the awareness of what is to come and the beginning of the
new cycle, humanity can be divided into three groups. The
first group, of which not much need be said, are the ones
who are oblivious to the impending disaster.
The
second group are those who worry about the end of the cycle.
Of this group we can say that they are already partly conscious
or you could say that they have accumulated enough awareness
to see the shortcomings of humanity. In this regard they are
saved and yet not saved. They are like the passengers in a
bus that is racing downhill without brakes. The fact that
they can see that there are no brakes will not stop the bus
in its destructive progress into the abyss. They can prepare
themselves for the end of the road but they are unable to
change the direction or halt the movement of the vehicle.
This knowledge that events are spinning out of control can
lead to states of anxiety, disillusionment, and negative thoughts,
which, in turn, can contribute to the behaviour of the ones
who have caused this catastrophe. The saving grace of this
second group is that they saw wrongdoing and that they are
able to see wrong. Their downfall lies in their total belief
in material things and humanism and they are, thereby, unable
to change the cycle of destruction.
There
is a saying of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may the salutations
of Allah be upon him and peace) that prayer and supplication
can change the course of destiny. So if we want to be amongst
those to change the course of destiny, we cannot seek to change
it by wishing to change the causes. We have to go right back
to the primary cause and connect ourselves to the source of
life itself, which is Allah. We become part of the third group
by acknowledging this fact and working on ourselves to change
the darkness within us to light, change our negativity to
positive thought, speech, and action, and following the way
of the great and final Messenger of God, Muhammad (Peace be
upon him). He did see the future of humanity or you could
say that he came from the future itself, because of his miraculous
powers from the Absolute and his realisation in God. He is
the Most Beloved of God and is the one who said, "Creation
is the family of God. And the most beloved of God are those
who care for the family of God." We truly believe that
if we follow in his footsteps and practice the method he brought
to us all, we can have no doubt whatsoever that the course
of humanity will change for the better. If we want to live
our lives like a Hollywood movie then we can sit back in our
comfortable chairs and wait for the end. Most surely, the
end will come. To live in darkness requires no effort.
From
the treasures of the teaching of our Holy Prophet Muhammad
(Peace be upon him) we are presenting the following formulas
for the sake of Light, so that Light may fill our hearts,
our thoughts and our speech and actions. Then through the
power of the Love of God in our prayer, supplication and meditations,
we will be able, with God's permission, to change the course
of humanity so that peace may fill our lives.
The
spiritual practice known as Al Asaas (the foundation
of human consciousness) is overflowing with barakah
(blessing) and, with the Grace of Allah, this spiritual energy
will bring benefit to any genuine and sincere seeker of truth
who turns to this exalted method of remembrance with need
and humility.
In
preparation, one should make ablutions with clean, flowing
water (wudhu). Then isolate yourself in a quiet room
or corner, and be seated comfortably. Recite, with awareness
and purpose, the following five formulas, or as much as you
can. On completion make supplication to God, and with His
help, one will be able to change oneself and to help humanity
and all the creations of God.
This
practice is to be completed twice each day. The best times
for the performance of this blessed exercise is in the early
morning a short while before sunrise and in the late afternoon
just before sunset.

contain an abundance of secrets. Each recitation can generate
so much spiritual energy in one's system that one's supplications
will have wings to fly to God.
Wa
ma taufi'iq illa billah. And there is no success except
by Allah.
